At Bay Point Contracting, we fundamentally build the price within the design process.  We provide a fixed price contract after the design process is complete, permits are received, and construction drawings are ready. This ensures no surprises and gives you peace of mind knowing the exact cost of your kitchen renovation before you start.

It depends on the size and complexity of the renovation. Work might, for example, include enlarging spaces, removing walls, window relocation, lighting, and relocating appliances. Lead times for templating countertops and back splash may also affect the timeline. Typically, a kitchen renovation can last 6-12 weeks on average.

It’s possible, especially if the kitchen renovation involves structural changes, plumbing, electrical work, windows, elevation changes, or significant alterations. We handle the coordination of permits from start to finish as part of our design process, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience for our clients.

Unfortunately, no. Everything will be moved out, and gas and water will be capped for the duration. Where possible, we can assist you to set up a temporary kitchen elsewhere in the home with small appliances such as a microwave, toaster oven, air fryer, fridge, and a sink. Plan for simple meals, BBQ outdoors in warmer months, or try out that new restaurant you’ve been eyeing!
